SEAJET Thinner A – thinner for antifoulings and primers Genuine xylene-based SEAJET thinner – for the right coating consistency and tool cleaning SEAJET Thinner A is a xylene-based thinner for thinning SEAJET antifoulings, SEAJET 015 Underwater Primer and other SEAJET products where it is specified. Use it to adjust the consistency (viscosity) of the coating for a smooth, even finish, especially at low temperatures or when spraying. It is also suitable for cleaning brushes, rollers and spray equipment. Using the genuine thinner ensures that the coating retains all the properties intended by the manufacturer – an unsuitable thinner can impair drying, adhesion and performance. Which products is it for? All SEAJET antifoulings (021, 027, 030, 031, 032, 033, 034, 036, 037, 038, 039, 040) SEAJET 015 Underwater Primer SEAJET SEOSIL and SEAJET Tie Coat SEAJET Pellerclean Clear Coat Cleaning tools after using the products listed above Not for two-component epoxy and polyurethane coatings – use SEAJET Thinner E for SEAJET 117, and SEAJET Thinner P for SEAJET 132 and 2300. Advantages Genuine SEAJET thinner – fully compatible with the coatings Smooth, even finish with no brush marks Suitable for spraying and for application at lower temperatures For tool cleaning Technical data Base: xylene Pack sizes: 1 l / 5 l / 20 l Flash point: 25 °C VOC content: 870 g/l Directions for use Add the thinner gradually, stirring the coating well in between. For brush or roller application, as a rule do not add more than 5 % thinner (check the technical data sheet of the individual coating – some, e.g. SEAJET Tie Coat, call for more). For tool cleaning, use the thinner immediately after finishing the job. Tip Too much thinner reduces the film thickness and with it the protection the coating provides. Use only in a well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition. Close containers tightly after use. Safety labelling (GHS/CLP) Pictograms: GHS02, GHS07, GHS08 Signal word: DANGER H226 Flammable liquid and vapour. H304 May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. H312 Harmful in contact with skin. H315 Causes skin irritation. H319 Causes serious eye irritation. H332 Harmful if inhaled. H335 May cause respiratory irritation. H373 May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.

SEAJET 117 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer SEAJET 017 Epoxy Bonding Primer for Alloys SEAJET 118 Ultra-Build Epoxy Primer All other SEAJET epoxy coatings Not for antifoulings or one-component coatings – use SEAJET Thinner A for those; for polyurethane coatings (SEAJET 132, 2300) use SEAJET Thinner P. Advantages Genuine SEAJET thinner – fully compatible with epoxy coatings Smooth, even application For degreasing the surface before applying the primer For cleaning tools after working with epoxy coatings Technical data Base: xylene Pack sizes: 1 l / 5 l / 20 l Flash point: 13 °C (highly flammable) VOC content: 850 g/l Directions for use Thinning: add the thinner only after the base and hardener have been mixed. Add it gradually and stir well. Do not add more than 5 %. Degreasing: before painting, wipe the surface with a clean cloth moistened with thinner and allow the solvent to evaporate completely. Tool cleaning: clean tools immediately after use, before the epoxy starts to cure. Tip Too much thinner reduces the film thickness and can impair protection against osmosis and corrosion. Because of the low flash point, use only in a well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition, sparks and open flames. Safety labelling (GHS/CLP) Pictograms: GHS02, GHS07, GHS08 Signal word: DANGER H225 Highly flammable liquid and vapour. H304 May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. H312 Harmful in contact with skin. H315 Causes skin irritation. H319 Causes serious eye irritation. H335 May cause respiratory irritation. H336 May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Fast spray thinner International Thinner 910 is a special blend of organic solvents developed for thinning selected International primers and undercoats, particularly when spray-applied. It is used for Perfection Undercoat, Interprime 820, Interprime 880 and Polyurethane Basecoat. The thinner evaporates quickly, so it is intended mainly for spraying at lower temperatures, approx. 10–15 °C, when a slower thinner would prolong drying and increase the risk of runs. Correctly thinned, the coating atomises evenly, flows out nicely and leaves a smooth surface ready for the topcoat. Thinner 910 is used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations for each coating. For brush or roller application, and for spraying at higher temperatures, the manufacturer specifies other thinners for the same coatings, so always check the coating's technical data sheet before use. Key features Fast-evaporating spray thinner For Perfection Undercoat, Interprime 820, Interprime 880 and Polyurethane Basecoat Optimal at temperatures of approx. 10–15 °C Even atomisation and good flow-out Reduces the risk of runs at lower temperatures For professional and DIY use Pack size 1 litre Safety labelling (GHS/CLP) Pictograms: GHS02, GHS07, GHS08 Signal word: DANGER H225 Highly flammable liquid and vapour. H304 May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. H315 Causes skin irritation. H319 Causes serious eye irritation. H336 May cause drowsiness or dizziness. H361d Suspected of damaging the unborn child. H373 May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. Note: Before use, always check the manufacturer's latest Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed instructions on application, dilution and surface compatibility.
