International Interswift 6800HS black is a one-component, organotin-free (TBT-free), self-polishing (SPC – Self Polishing Copolymer) low-friction antifouling based on patented copper acrylate technology. Thanks to its controlled polishing action, Interswift 6800HS maintains a smooth, hydrodynamic surface throughout the entire in-service period (the surface is 12% smoother than a typical CDP antifouling), reducing hull drag and fuel consumption. A high volume solids content (62%) allows faster application with less waste. Interswift 6800HS is suitable for newbuilding and maintenance work on deep-sea and coastal commercial vessels, with an in-service period of up to 60 months. COMPATIBILITY Interswift 6800HS is the finish (antifouling) coat of System A, applied over Intergard 263 (intermediate coat) on top of Intershield 300 / Intergard 7500 / Intergard 7600 (primer). For a shorter in-service period and a lower purchase price, Interspeed 6400 (up to 36 months) is also available within the same system. IMPORTANT Interswift 6800HS is a professional antifouling for professional use. Once immersed, some colours may change shade (e.g. red → light red, brown → dark brown/black) – this does not affect the performance of the coating. Intergard 263 ensures maximum adhesion and long-term performance of the coating system on exterior hull areas, both above and below the waterline.
