International Interspeed 6400 black is a one-component, organotin-free (TBT-free), self-polishing (CDP – Controlled Depletion Polymer) antifouling for long-term protection of the underwater hull against fouling. Interspeed 6400 provides controlled, even biocide release throughout the entire service interval, ensuring predictable performance and easy drydock planning. Its high solids content (60%) reduces paint waste and improves workability. It is suitable for both newbuilding and maintenance work, and for refurbishment it can, under certain conditions, be applied directly over an existing antifouling in good condition. It is an economical and reliable solution for commercial vessels and yachts operating in temperate or tropical waters, with a service interval of up to approximately 36 months. The recommended application method is airless spray. Brush or roller may be used for smaller areas. Observe the specified maximum exposure times before launching – up to 6 months in temperate conditions and up to 3 months in tropical conditions. COMPATIBILITY Interspeed 6400 is the finish (antifouling) coat of System A, applied over Intergard 263 (intermediate coat) on top of Intershield 300 / Intergard 7500 / Intergard 7600 (primer). For a longer-term solution (up to 60 months), Interswift 6800HS is also available in the same system. IMPORTANT Interspeed 6400 is a professional antifouling for professional use. This item is intended for B2B sales. International Intergard 263 is a two-component tar-free epoxy tie coat designed to link an anticorrosive primer with an antifouling or cosmetic topcoat. Intergard 263 ensures maximum adhesion and long-term performance of the coating system on exterior hull areas, both above and below the waterline. It can also be used as a sealer coat over old TBT antifoulings, as at the specified thickness of 100 μm it forms a certified barrier against TBT leaching (tested to ASTM D5108-96, modified). Intergard 263 is a versatile product suitable for a wide range of new and aged coating systems, whether for newbuilding, major refits or routine on board maintenance.
