SEAJET 040 SHŌSHA – copper-free super self-polishing antifouling High-performance copper-free protection for all materials, including aluminium – in bright colours, including white SEAJET 040 SHŌSHA is a copper-free super self-polishing antifouling based on a unique resin with a hydrolysing polymer (SPC technology). On contact with water, the surface layer hydrolyses evenly and releases the active ingredient in a controlled way, so the hull stays clean and smooth all season and old coats do not build up. Instead of copper, it contains the biocide Econea®, which is effective even at low concentrations. SHŌSHA is designed for areas with heavy fouling and is suitable for all hull materials, including aluminium. Because it contains no copper, it keeps its clean, bright colours – it is especially popular in white, which matches white hulls perfectly. The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease, salt and fouling. Lightly sand the old coating and remove dust. 2. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. 3. Apply at least 2 coats. Apply an extra coat to exposed areas – the leading edge of the keel, the waterline, the rudder and drive parts. 4. Wait at least 12 hours before launching. Launch the boat no later than 3 months after application. Tip Drying times are longer at low temperatures and high humidity. Never paint zinc anodes.
