SEAJET 036 ENDURANCE – hard antifouling with a high copper content Robust protection for areas with heavy fouling and fast boats up to 70 knots SEAJET 036 ENDURANCE is a hard (hard matrix) antifouling with a high copper content. Unlike self-polishing antifoulings, it does not wear away while under way; instead it forms a hard, mechanically resistant film that withstands high speeds, frequent hauling out and contact with mud or sand. This makes it the right choice for fast motor boats, planing boats and RIBs, as well as for boats that are frequently taken out of the water and for areas with heavy fouling. The high copper content provides effective protection against mussels, barnacles, algae and other fouling, and with proper use the protection can last up to two seasons. Pressure-wash the hull. The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease, salt and fouling. Lightly sand the old coating and remove the dust. 2. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. 3. Apply 2 coats. Apply an extra coat to exposed areas – the leading edge of the keel, the waterline, the rudder and drive parts. 4. Wait at least 22 hours before launching. Tip As this is a hard antifouling, old layers build up over time – sand thoroughly before recoating. The colour may change slightly after launching; this is normal and does not affect performance.
