SEAJET 033 SHOGUN – premium self-polishing antifouling High-performance protection for heavy-fouling areas – especially effective against slime and algae SEAJET 033 SHOGUN is a premium self-polishing antifouling with a slow, controlled polishing rate, developed for boating in heavy-fouling areas such as warm seas, marinas with still water and vessels that spend long periods on their moorings. The surface layer renews itself evenly while under way and releases its active ingredients, so the hull stays clean and smooth all season. It is particularly effective against slime (biofilm) and algae, which are the first to appear on other coatings. SHOGUN is one of the most proven and highly regarded antifoulings in the SEAJET range and a great choice for demanding owners of sailing yachts and motorboats. The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease, salt and fouling. Lightly sand the old coating and remove the dust. 2. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. 3. Apply 2 coats. Apply an extra coat to exposed areas – the leading edge of the keel, the waterline, the rudder and the drive units. 4. Wait at least 12 hours before launching. Tip Drying times are longer at low temperatures and high humidity. For areas with moderate fouling, SEAJET 031 SAMURAI is the more economical choice.
