SEAJET 012 Universal Primer/Undercoat One-component universal primer for boats above the waterline SEAJET 012 is a fast-drying primer and undercoat for preparing surfaces before applying one-component topcoats. It adheres excellently to fibreglass (GRP), wood and steel, and on steel it also provides good corrosion protection. It is easy to use, making it an excellent choice both for professionals and for boat owners who do their own maintenance. Thoroughly clean, degrease and sand the surface. Remove the dust. 2. Stir the paint well before use. 3. Apply in thin, even coats. Thin with SEAJET Thinner U if necessary. 4. Before applying the next coat, wait for the previous one to dry and sand it lightly. 5. As a topcoat, we recommend SEAJET Unythane Finish or another one-component topcoat. Tip Do not apply at low temperatures, in high humidity or onto a damp surface. For detailed application conditions and drying times, refer to the manufacturer's technical data sheet. ⚠️ Not suitable for the underwater hull – for that, choose SEAJET 015 Underwater Primer or SEAJET 117 Epoxy Primer.

SEAJET 015 Underwater Primer – 400 ml spray Fast-drying primer and barrier coat for the underwater hull in a handy aerosol SEAJET 015 Underwater Primer is a one-component acrylic resin primer for preparing the underwater hull before applying a new antifouling. It acts as a barrier coat that separates the old and new coatings when you don't know which antifouling was applied before, or when the old and new coatings can't be combined. In spray form it is ideal for small touch-ups, hard-to-reach areas and quick spot repairs. SEAJET Tie Coat – tie coat for the SEOSIL silicone system The essential intermediate layer that ensures silicone adhesion and determines the hull colour SEAJET Tie Coat is a one-component, fast-drying tie coat developed specifically for the SEAJET SEOSIL (Bioclean Eco) silicone foul-release system. Silicone does not adhere to the substrate or conventional coatings on its own, so Tie Coat acts as a bridge between the primer or old antifouling and the silicone, ensuring lasting adhesion and a long service life for the entire system. Since SEOSIL is transparent, Tie Coat determines the final hull colour. A major advantage is that it can be applied directly over existing, well-adhered antifouling – there is no need to remove the old coating. SEAJET 117 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer – 400 ml spray Epoxy primer in an aerosol can – ideal for spot repairs above and below the waterline SEAJET 117 spray is a handy version of the popular SEAJET 117 epoxy primer, intended for small and spot repairs – gelcoat damage, scratches down to the substrate, keel repairs, metal parts or drives. There are no components to mix, no tools to clean and no large can to open – you apply the primer straight from the aerosol. The primer offers high coverage and outstanding adhesion, forms a permanently waterproof film that is impermeable to water vapour, and is abrasion-resistant. Below the waterline it acts as a barrier against water ingress and a base for antifouling; above the waterline it is a base for two-component topcoats.
