SEAJET Pellerclean – biocide-free propeller protection (set) Foul-release coating for propellers, shafts and trim tabs – fouling can't get a grip, and whatever does settle is washed away by the water SEAJET Pellerclean is a biocide-free kit that protects propellers and drive components against fouling. It works on the foul-release principle: it creates an exceptionally smooth, slippery surface to which mussels, barnacles and algae cannot firmly attach. Any growth is washed off by the water flow while under way, and the rest comes off with light cleaning. Your propeller stays clean, which means better efficiency, higher speed, lower fuel consumption and less vibration. Pellerclean is an environmentally friendly solution with long-lasting performance. Preparation: remove all dirt, fouling and any old coating or antifouling from the parts. Sand the surface with P80 sandpaper down to bare metal, remove the dust and degrease. 2. Primer: mix the base and hardener thoroughly. Apply the 1st coat. The second coat can be applied after 15 minutes (at 20 °C) and no later than 7 days. 3. Topcoat: stir the Clear Coat well and apply it within 30 minutes of the last primer coat. 4. After 30 minutes, apply a second coat of topcoat. 5. Allow the coating to dry completely before launching. Tip Work in a dry, well-ventilated area at temperatures above 15 °C. Observe the short recoat intervals – the topcoat bonds best to primer that is still fresh. Never paint over zinc anodes.
